Is the lookup really free forever?
Yes. Searching providers and ICD-10 codes on the website is free and unlimited, no account required. We monetize the API and MCP server, not the core lookup.
What happens if I go over my monthly API quota?
Free-tier calls are throttled once you hit 3,000/mo. Pro (50,000 calls/mo included, then $1 per 1,000 · 120/min · batch to 100) and Scale (500,000 calls/mo included, then $0.50 per 1,000 · 600/min · batch to 1,000) meter overage per 1,000 calls instead of hard-stopping, so a busy month doesn't break your integration.
What's the difference between Pro and Scale?
Pro is built for a team of billers, coders or a single product calling the API in normal volume — batch validation, crosswalks and monitoring included. Scale is for RCM platforms and agent products running the API in production: higher throughput, a production-grade MCP quota and an uptime SLA.
Can an AI agent read this pricing page?

Do you offer refunds?
We don't issue partial-month refunds except where required by law, but you can cancel anytime from billing settings and keep paid access through the period you've already paid for.
